Jobs Plus on Yahoo Sports and WLW PDF Print E-mail

Jobs Plus was featured in a recent article in "The Post Game", a Yahoo Sports news site.  The article was sports news because it headlined Micheal Vick, the NFL quarterback who has experienced personal and professional redemption after his fall from grace in 2007.

The article gave a good representation of Jobs Plus, but did not include the emphasis on faith and spiritual redemption that Brad and Abe had worked to communicate.  That opportunity came on Thursay, January 23 when Brad and Abe were interviewed by Bill Cunningham on WLW.

In the 15 minute conversation Brad and Abe were able to clearly articulate not only the mission and values of Jobs Plus, but also the role of faith in the changed lives that come from the program.  They were also able to challenge local employers to consider giving a Jobs Plus grad a chance at meaninful employment.  Click here to listen to the program.
