Working Together to Change Lives

People who come to Jobs Plus for help with employment often receive much more than a new job. For many, it’s a new lease on life. These are individuals with histories of drug addiction, criminal activity and other personal failures, all of which can be barriers to meaningful employment.

The mission of Jobs Plus is to serve individuals in low-income communites.  As a result the people who walk through our door reflect many of the challenges of that demographic.

Jobs Plus opened its doors in 1994 at City Gospel Mission with a staff of two — founder and executive director Burr Robinson and Senior Job Placement Director Arnold Davis, both of whom are still serving with the organization.
