Working Together to Change Lives

People who come to Jobs Plus for help with employment often receive much more than a new job. For many, it’s a new lease on life. These are individuals with histories of drug addiction, criminal activity and other personal failures, all of which can be barriers to meaningful employment.

Since 1994, about 600 people have graduated from our program, and over 1,300 have found good jobs. Our six-month job retention rate is 67%.

Graduates of our program complete about 30 hours of training as they prepare for the real world of interviews, supervisors, co-workers and responsibility. But what often makes the greatest impact is the spiritual dimension of our program, which addresses issues of the heart through Bible study and relationships with staff and other clients. God uses this component of our program to change people from the inside out, making it possible for them to finally experience success on the job — and in life.
