This scholarship fund was established in 2000 with a substantial gift from a Jobs Plus donor. It provides education grants to Jobs Plus candidates who are working toward a certification or degree to advance their career. To date, the fund has made grants to 23 recipients totaling $15,830.

“I had jobs when I was on drugs, but my life wasn’t going anywhere. Jobs Plus helped me start over twice, once as a cook and now as a social worker. I’m actually working on my undergraduate degree at the University of Cincinnati. I was a 40-year-old freshman! I’m planning to pursue a graduate degree next, and I’m already working in the field as a family advocate for homeless people. Drug addiction stole my confidence, but now I know I can do anything.”
