Each year, thousands of people are returned to the community after serving time in jail or going through drug rehabilitation. Many of them want to change. They intend to change. But they simply are not equipped to do so. Without a role model or any kind of positive support system, many slide back into their old ways. They run with the wrong crowd, start using drugs, and — all too often — end up back in jail or rehab.
Now, you can help make a difference in the lives of people who want to break free from this destructive cycle. How? By becoming part of the StepUp Mentoring Program. |
